A Walk in the Park

Central Park is one of my favorite places.  I love to sit and watch everyone walk by sporting their incredible outfits and styles.  Walking around the park can be quite uncomfortable though if you aren't wearing the right outfit.  I would consider this to be the perfect outfit for a walk in the park.  Warm, stylish, and comfortable.

Here and There

After a busy few weeks I have worn numerous outfits that I will I was able to post!  Unfortunately, I only got pictures on Instagram or with friends but I figured I would show you all anyways.  Maybe inspire a few new outfits for all of you!

Party Pants

Now that recruitment is over and bid day is tomorrow I can actually breathe again.  The past week or two have been completely crazy that I couldn't even sleep more than five hours a night.  (Not okay for me!)  I also started writing a fashion column for my college's newspaper... so exciting!!!

Anyways, here is an outfit that I have found to be one of my most comfortable yet still put together.  I completely adore both the pants and the shirt.  I wear the pants on a regular basis up here at school and decided they were my best summer buy!  I thought it would be tough pairing red pants with things but they literally match anything! 

I hope you all feel daring enough to go out a buy a pair of party pants for yourself!

A New Obsession

Yes, you read correctly.  I am now obsessed with another article of clothing!  Trench coats!  They are a must have article for fall and personally, I think they are fabulous!! They will keep you warm, dry and fashionable! What's not to love?!

My personal favorite and ultimate wish list add on is a tan Burberry trench.  However, I understand that I will be saving up forever for that one! Ha ha

First Rule of Fashion

The first rule and only rule of fashion is...

I am not only suggesting but I am challenging you.  Wear stripes and polka dots, brown and black, and every other combination you were always told not to wear.  There are no rules in fashion.  Which brings me to talk about the no white after labor day.

Sure, my friends and I joke about it and continuously said that we needed to wear all our white pants last week but in reality, we didn't have to!  Not wearing white after labor day stems from the old tradition of the upper class leaving their white clothing at their summer homes so it would not get dingy during the fall and winter.  However, today,  many designers create wardrobes and pieces that can be worn during any season and in any weather.  They are not following the rule, so why should you?  

Be different.  Be you.  Sport any outfit you want this fall and tell me about it!

When someone asks me who inspires my outfits several names come to mind.  Kate Middleton, Jackie O., and the character Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl are the top three.  I have come up with outfits that are inspired by Kate Middleton and Jackie O. on this lovely Sunday!  I figured I would share them with you all to help inspire you for your next shopping spree.
