Living for Me.

This year is going to end as mine.  I am going to have a wonderful semester.  Make money.  Love my deephers to death (and get a little)!  Be the best captain I can be for my team.  Get awesome grades.  And of course, turn 21 at the end of it all.

Brighten up a Rainy Day

Apparently tomorrow is supposed to be another terrible storm so what do I write about?  How to brighten up a rainy day obviously!

When it rains, people tend to be down in the dumps!  The best way to cheer yourself up is wear some bright colors and use brightly colored accessories!

And the Wish List Grows

Unfortunately I do not make nearly enough money for my shopping obsession.  However it is always fun to have a lengthy wish list because I get so excited when I get to cross something off of it!! Here are my additions!

Talk about PERFECT for my 21st birthday celebrations!

These are a must for Rhode Island weather.

I could probably keep going but if my mom reads this she may have a heart attack!

Does anyone else have trouble shrinking their wish lists?

Wish I May

I am already wishing for new clothes for this fall and once again, J.Crew has done an outstanding job at making me go insane waiting for me to be able to afford these items.  (Hopefully my mother, aunts, grandmothers, anyone is reading this! Hint hint!)

These items are able to be paired with anything really and they would be perfect for this fall and winter in Rhode Island.  They will add color and comfort to my wardrobe for all of my crazy long Tuesdays.  (Another hint to my mother! Ha ha!)

Fall Wish List

J.Crew striped shirt / J.Crew cotton t shirt / J.Crew j. crew pants / J.Crew elastic waist pants / J.Crew elastic waist pants

Do any of these pieces belong on your fall wish list?!

Celebrate we will 'Cause Life is Short but Sweet for Certain

My best friend finally graduated from high school.  The little baby is only 18 but we are inseparable.  I would be nothing without the chick!  Our families are inseparable as well.  We even call each other's aunts and uncles our own.

Anyways, her graduation party was at her beach house last weekend and of course I wanted to look my best for the occasion!  Luckily my sister snapped a few fabulous shots of my outfit while I was getting some Arnold Palmer and having a conversation with our cousin!  (You are the best if you are reading this big sis!)

(Blazer - Urban Outfitters, Shirt - Gap, Shorts - Free People, Shoes - Jason Wu, Bangles - Alex and Ani)

Is her cake adorable or what?!

What do you think?!  Was I dressed well enough for the event?

A Trip Down Memory Lane

The other day my best friend had her graduation party (outfit post coming soon).  Yes.  That is correct.  My best friend just graduated high school.  Don't care.  Anyways, we have been inseparable since she was born.  Our families go back entirely too far to remember!  Her mom asked the two of us to help her go through old photos for her graduation party.  Easy task!  Of course I had to put some sort of attire on.  I chose to keep the outfit casual but put together while my best friend and I took a trip down memory lane!
(Shirt - Macy's, Shorts - DIY, Flats - Old Navy, Clutch - Tory Burch, Bracelets - Alex and Ani)

Going through old photos is always a blast.

My old favorite doll named Amy.
My sister, best friend, and me!  Wearing a bow of course!
Always was and always will be a "Mommy's Girl"
I loved seeing all of these!

A Forest in the Concrete Jungle?

While in New York City this weekend, my fabulous sister and I stayed with my amazing cousin.  She is interning in the city and has the cutest little place to live.  I absolutely loved the entire weekend and could not thank her enough! (I know you will read this girlfriend! haha)

Anyways, while walking around she took us down this street that is covered with sculptures and some of the coolest architecture I have ever seen.  My favorite was the window sills made into almost what looked like miniature forests.  They were gorgeous!! I absolutely had to take a picture in front of them!

Side note:  for some reason my shirt is showing entirely too much of my stomach in this picture but that is not what it looked like walking around all day! Promise.

(Shirt - American Eagle, Shorts - French Boutique, Shoes - Urban Outfitters..my cousins, Bag - Louis Vuitton)

Hope you think the window is as fabulous as I do!  Plus those shoes were to die for so I had to share.

My Instagrammed Weekends

The past two weekends I have been out of town!  The first weekend, I went to Cape Cod and this past weekend I was in New York City!  I did not have time to take many pictures but I was able to document a few outfits and a few sights!  Here is a sneak peak at my adventures!

Dinner on the Cape. Cape Cod.
A day in Provincetown. Cape Cod.
Concrete Jungle.
McFadden's open bar night in NYC.
Of course I was like a tourist for a minute.  DASH. NYC.
New Alex and Ani bracelets. LOVE. NYC.
The obvious. Nomnomnom. NYC.
This would all pretty much sum up the past two weekends since I could not begin to explain the fun I have had!

Simple day in the Neighborhood

Yet another day in a small village in England!  It was wicked hot and I literally was stumped with what to wear.  I decided to go with an outfit my mom had gotten me for the trip from Francesca's !  It was perfect!  I felt awake, put together, and stylish all at once!  The perfect combination for some confidence!

(Skirt and Shirt - Francesca's, Flops - Rainbows, Ring - French Boutique)

Yellow just screams happiness to me and ironically I am laughing in half of these photos!

Does anyone else love wearing bright colors?

I'd Be Lost Without You

Yes.  I said it.  I would totally and completely be lost without an agenda.  I use an agenda literally to keep track of everything from homework, doctors appointments, gymnastics meets, birthdays, anything you could imagine... it will be written in my agenda.

Last year I decided to step away from just any old agenda and pick up a Lilly Pulitzer one.  Best decision by far!!  The first semester I was using the small pocket agenda and to be honest it was awesome but way too tiny for all of the things I had to do.  So come second semester I got the large agenda and it was perfection!  I cannot wait to start marking things down in my new agenda come August!  This is the one I will be rockin' this year...

They have also introduced a new size.. Jumbo!  And there is now a large agenda with a flexible cover! Lilly is always thinking!

Do you use a Lilly planner?

The City of Love

Generally I dress with a  NYC/Preppy style (or so I am told.. I have no idea!). In Paris the weather got quite a bit chilly but luckily at night it warmed up!  I had tons of difficulty picking out clothes to wear since it was the end of the tour!  I did my best and I came up with a blazer and jeans for a simple day look and a little bit dressier at night!

The outfits aren't my best however the view in the pictures are incredible and I figured it might be nice to share them!

Paris was at my finger tips!

Olympic Fever

If anyone has read my profile, they would know that I am a collegiate gymnast.  I have been doing gymnastics for the past 16 years and it has truly become a part of me.  Once my dream was to be an Olympic gymnast and then I turned 14 and reality set in.  However, I still follow the elite gymnasts and love them!  All of this Olympic talk and the fact that the Women's Olympic Gymnastics team was picked tonight has inspired me.

This summer I have become not only obsessed with America even more but the colors red, white, and blue.  I love wearing them!  I also have started wearing gold which used to be a huge "no-no" for me.  (Thank goodness I snapped out of that one)  All of these colors combined remind me of one thing and one thing only:  The Olympics and the fact that our gymnastics team has a huge chance to win!

Here are some of the fabulous color combinations and pieces that I have been loving!
