Lessons from the Legend

As much as I adore Taylor Swift, after all her boy drama you wouldn't think that you could learn much from her right? Wrong. In honor of her concert that I will be attending next weekend (both nights...told you I adore her), I thought I'd let you all know a few things you can actually learn from my girl T.Swift.

Do you're thang. Everyone has their own "thing" in this crazy world. It may be blogging, writing about falling in and out of love like Taylor, or it may be your witty remarks. Whatever your "thing" is, keep doing it because it makes you unique.

Find your own niche. Taylor never decided if she was a country or pop singer. She is both and her music reflects that. If you find things that you enjoy, why not combine them and create something new? This is your life and there is no one more you than you.

Be sassy. Taylor and I are both the queen of sass. Like that time she told her body guard that she can do what she wants when he said she couldn't see her fans. You need to stand up for yourself or life is going to be a lot harder than expected. We aren't talking about rudeness here, just a little sass that's all. This leads me to my next point...

Let the haters hate. If you let every bad review, insult, or comment ruin your day, you are going to be miserable. People love to hate others but don't let that get to you because it isn't worth your time while you are succeeding.

Leave the past behind you. Although Taylor writes songs about all of her exes, she teaches you in these songs to leave them behind you. If it didnt work out the first time, why would it the second? That whole "we are never getting back together thing" actually makes sense, more girls should follow it.

Keep your head up. People are going to break your heart or let you down but if you take that negativity and turn it into something beautiful, like a Grammy award-winning song, they are going to feel down in the dumps, not you. People will say no to you but that does not mean yes isn't coming!

Her life lessons are a lot more useful than you would think.

Stay Sunny !
